ZZ Plant
The ZZ plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia) is a hardy and resilient houseplant, making it an excellent choice for beginners. To keep your ZZ plant happy and thriving, place it in bright, indirect light, but it can tolerate low light conditions as well. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings, as ZZ plants are susceptible to root rot if overwatered. They prefer slightly dry conditions and can withstand periods of neglect.
As a general guideline, water the plant every 2-3 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). However, the frequency of watering can vary depending on factors such as the plant’s size, pot size, humidity levels, and the ambient temperature.
